At JL Creative, we strongly believe in a world where every business is supported to generate quality leads online, which leads to stability, confidence, and growth. 

Our founder, Jonny Lawrence, established JL Creative in 2019 to revolutionise the SEO approach in the UK building services and HVAC industries and ensure businesses' unique needs are not overlooked.

We believe in doing business in a way that puts people and the environment first. JL Creative is being built on those principles, working with brands that share our vision.

Meet the founder of JL Creative

 

Jonathan Lawrence (he has always been a Jonny!) has been a digital marketing professional since the late 2000s.

With a background in the music industry and a passion for music and art, Jonny brings a unique creative perspective to his work at JL Creative. 

He founded the business in 2019, initially collaborating with freelancers to provide personalised, in-house-style services. Over the years, his team has grown into a robust group of talented individuals who are devoted to crafting successful digital marketing strategies, with search at the core.

In addition to his work in digital marketing, Jonny is committed to promoting the UK's mission to achieve net-zero emissions and create a sustainable future.
 

My experience working in building services has shown me how it has always needed to evolve. Changes in regulations, new technology the environment, and even the internet have all played their part in shaping the sector. 

The UK's net zero target, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 100% by 2050 from 1990 levels, has posed a new challenge for the industry. How do we educate consumers when there is so much misinformation out there? 

Helpful content has always been at the heart of what SEO's do but we're taking it further. JL Creative uses SEO to educate, inform and grow businesses that prioritise a better future. Whether that is the centres training the next generation of skilled tradespeople, manufacturers creating innovative new products, or the tech that drives the green revolution.

Marco joined JL Creative in February 2023.

Having previously worked in social media, he has a proven track record of success in creating and executing effective campaigns that engage audiences and drive growth. In addition to his expertise in social media, Marco also has experience with SEO, giving him a well-rounded understanding of the digital marketing landscape.

Throughout his career, Marco has demonstrated a passion for staying up-to-date on the latest industry trends and technologies, ensuring that his campaigns are innovative and impactful. He has a keen eye for detail and is dedicated to helping his clients reach their marketing goals.

In his free time Marco is an outdoor enthusiast, being an experienced skier and rock climber. He also enjoys watching football and spending time with his dog.

Raquel Muzariri - Digital Marketing Assistant

Raquel joined JL Creative in September 2024.

 

Raquel brings a blend of creativity and analytical thinking to her role. With a law degree that has sharpened her ability to think critically and solve complex problems, Raquel transitioned into the world of digital marketing, where she has worked with various companies to develop campaigns and execute strategies with diligence. 

Known for her work ethic and research skills, Raquel is eager to learn about the industry and continuously refine her skills. 

 

In her free time, Raquel enjoys travelling and learning from new cultures, hitting the slopes during the winter, and nurturing her artistic side through painting. 

She believes that these passions not only enrich her personal life but also fuel her creativity and fresh approach to marketing challenges.

Ephraim Luwemba - Client Assistant

Ephraim has a background in PPC and has worked agency-side for a range of clients across multiple industries including tourism, rail, estate agencies and e-commerce. He also has 2 years of technical development experience on Google Ads and has written bespoke account management scripts for clients in Javascript to automate tasks and boost productivity. He is keenly interested in developing his SEO experience at JL Creative.

In his free time, Ephraim enjoys cycling and has gone on several bikepacking adventures. He also likes to play guitar and watch movies.

Having worked with different industries belonging to different time zones, Sajal strategises and creates digital marketing campaigns to help brands scale up their efforts. With over 4+ years of experience, her focus remains on driving results through effective execution. Sajal has worked in social media, SEM, email marketing, and SEO successfully managing a promising ROI of up to 1500% on marketing campaigns.’

In her free time, Sajal loves to listen to music and spend time with her friends and family. She can randomly spend hours listening to songs, and scrolling through podcasts guilt-free!
