1. London Build Expo

Known as one of the leading construction and design shows in the UK, the London Build Expo, has a strong focus on sustainability and also brings together industry professionals dedicated to creating eco-friendly buildings.

Held at Olympia London, on 20-21st November 2024, the venue is easily accessible via Kensington Olympia station, making it convenient for attendees across the city.

Speakers include Paul Morrell (former Chief Construction Advisor to the UK Government) and Scott Wilding (a Principal City Planner within TfL’s Transport Strategy and Policy Directorate). 

We’re eager to explore topics such as sustainable construction materials, green building techniques, and building automation for energy efficiency showcased at the event.

2. Build2Perform 

Build2Perform, taking place at ExCeL London on the 13-14th November 2024, is a key event focusing on building performance, energy efficiency, and sustainability in the construction industry. It attracts engineers, building managers, and contractors who are focused on improving the efficiency of building operations. This two-day show features seminars, workshops, and exhibits on how to create high-performing buildings with reduced environmental impact.

With speakers like Charlotte Lee (member of the Heat Pump Association) and Tim Dwyer (HVAC expert and consultant), attendees will gain insights into the latest industry trends. As a digital marketing agency for those within the building services industry, we’re particularly interested in sessions covering smart HVAC systems and renewable energy integration in buildings. 3. EMEX (Energy Management Exhibition) 

EMEX is the UK's leading event for energy management professionals. It provides a platform to explore the latest technologies and solutions that reduce energy consumption, cut costs, and meet sustainability goals. Exhibitors range from energy management software providers to companies specialising in renewable energy solutions. Key speakers include Brigitte Amoruso (the Senior Climate Change and Energy Specialist at Make UK - the Manufacturers’ Association) and Rupert Redesdale (a member of the House of Lords and EMEX Conference Chair).

This year’s event, taking place from 20-21 November 2024 is also held at ExCeL London, and is therefore easily accessible via the DLR or Elizabeth Line.

4. Climate Tech Show 

The London Climate Technology Show (Climate Tech Show), on 27 - 28 November 2024, is all about bringing together innovators and industry leaders to discuss the technologies driving the fight against climate change. 

The event covers innovations in energy, transportation, waste management, and more, with a focus on creating solutions that are both sustainable and scalable.

Like the London EMEX conference, this event will also be held at ExCeL London.

Speakers include Celestine Cheong (Head of External Communications at the UK Atomic Energy Authority’s) and Olivia Powis (the UK Director at the Carbon Capture and Storage Association). 

The Climate Tech Show offers the chance to deepen our knowledge of smart building technologies and AI-driven energy solutions that are revolutionising how buildings operate.

5. The Heating and Plumbing Show (HAP Show) 

Also known as Toolfair & ProBuilderLive, this trade show takes place at various locations across many dates a year. 

The HAP Show primarily focuses on showcasing tools, products, and services for professionals in the heating, plumbing, and bathroom industries, with demonstrations, deals, and accredited seminars. 

While its core themes revolve around trades and building maintenance, we suspect that sustainability will naturally be a topic throughout the day. 

The next HAP Show will be on the 7-8th November, at Sandown Park Racecourse, Surrey, which can be accessed via the Southwest Trains network from London Waterloo to Esher station.

The HAP Show represents an opportunity to learn about the latest tools, products, and services. We will be attending the show next year on 27-28th March at Alexandra Palace, London. We are particularly keen to speak to manufacturers and see live demonstrations of the latest products.
