Get expert advice, tailored to training centres
We have been working with building services training centres for over 10 years, helping them grow their brands and sell more courses.
Fill more courses with digital marketing
We understand that most training centres aren’t marketing experts, nor should they be. You’re focused on delivering high-quality training, staying compliant, and running a busy business.
Building services are on the rise. Attractive, AI-proof and in-demand, the UK is crying out for more skilled workers. In this world, relying on word of mouth alone won't get you noticed.
Many centres we work with face similar challenges:
Struggling to reach new customers beyond their local area or existing network
Lack of in-house marketing knowledge or time to stay on top of SEO, social media or Google Ads
Confusion around what actually works when it comes to digital marketing — and what’s just a waste of budget
That’s where we come in.
Our connection with LCL Awards
We work with LCL Awards, not only as part of their marketing team, but to help LCL Awards centres grow and thrive online.
The LCL Awards Forum
Every year, alongside Jello PR, JL Creative’s director, Jonny Lawrence, is on hand to offer marketing advice to LCL centres in attendance.
We’ve spoken about the rise of AI, changes to google, using data to promote courses, and local SEO.
Training centres are in demand
The national skills shortage has been well publicised, and with a need for more skilled workers to help the UK meet its net zero targets, training centres are in high demand.
1.3 million more tradespeople are needed in the UK over the next decade to fill vacancies in construction and building services, including electricians, plumbers, and heating engineers
Around a third of current tradespeople are over 50, with many set to retire in the next 10–15 years, deepening the workforce gap
251,500 extra construction workers, including 59,000 plumbers/HVAC engineers and 33,000 electricians, needed by 2028–2030 to meet housing and retrofit goals.
Roughly 22.4 million homes are still connected to the gas grid. The Gas Safe Register, in partnership with industry groups like HHIC and CIPHE, consistently highlights a shortage of qualified engineers, particularly in boiler servicing, commercial heating, and renewable system installation.
An estimated 33,000 additional electricians are needed by 2030 in order to meet decarbonisation and retrofit needs
